Kadaupan Medical Mission 2016 held in Letran Bataan

About 800 patients were served in the KADAUPAN or Katarungan ng Diyos ang Ugat ng Payapang Adhikain Dominican Studentate medical mission held in Letran Bataan last February 20, 2016.
“The Church observes the Year of Mercy this year, and as a Catholic School, it is our way of participating in the acts of mercy through the help ofcourse of our partner institution like Kadaupan”. Center for Community Development coordinator Mr. Niño Peñaredondo said.

Mr. Peñaredondo coordinated with Kadaupan for the activity to be held in the campus so that nearby communities may receive medical services.
Residents of Abucay (Brgy. Gabon, including Bario Hacienda, Bario Campo, Gawad Kalinga, & Brgy. Salian), Samal (Calaguiman), and Hermosa were fetched by the Colegio’s buses so that they may attend the activity. Moreover, members of Aeta communities (Bangkal, Palili and Pag-Asa) were also served.
Among the services offered were dental services, minor surgery, general medicine, OB-GYNE, and pediatrics.
The Engineering lobby was turned into a Pharmacy during the medical mission.
Doctors from University of Santo Tomas, University of the Philippines, and Centro-Escular University were present.
The Colegio’s employees were also present in the mission to assist Kadaupan volunteers.
