To prepare employees for a meaningful Lenten journey to Easter, the Religious Affairs Divisions of the Colegio held the Lenten Recollection last February 12, 2016 at the audio-visual room.

The guest speaker for the recollection was Fr. Filemon Dela Cruz, O.P., vice-rector for Religious Affairs of the University of Santo Tomas.

Fr. Dela Cruz emphasized in his talk that conversion is not simply about turning away from sin; it must have a specific direction which is to follow the word of God.

Two sessions were held for the day as well as the sharing among employees wherein they were given guide questions enabling them to reflect on their Lenten sacrifices and how they could become faithful to the Gospel.

The Holy Eucharist was celebrated after the sessions by Fr. Dela Cruz, followed by the words of gratitude of Asst. Prof. Raem Mendoza, assistant dean, in behalf of the employees.

This recollection was preceded by the Advent Recollection held last year as part of the spiritual activities participated in by the employees.
