HS HOLDS BLUE & RED BALL, PROMENADE

Posted on December 15, 2014

The junior & senior high school promenade entitled Blue & Red Ball was held on December 12, 2014 at the La Marianas Place in Abucay, Bataan.

The affair served as a way to highlight social grace and etiquette among the students, apart from the turn-over ceremonies of the seniors to the juniors being held in the program as well.

“Tonight, [the students] are no longer the girls and boys seen [around the school]. Now, they are ladies and gentlemen in their most charming and mesmerizing attires." - Fr. Raymund Fernando Jose, OP

The seniors were dressed with a touch of blue whilst the juniors donned attires with a touch of pink or red. Fr. Jose ended his speech on this note as a reminder to the students: "Our life is a collection of memories. There are memories worth remembering but some are better forgotten. But there are those that are worth cherishing as they are engraved in our hearts forever.”

“I hope and pray that in your journey, one of those memories will be tonight.“ The program opened with the performance of selected Squires of the traditional dance Rigodon de Honor. The ceremonial turning over of the Key of Responsibility, Book of Knowledge, Philippine Flag, School Logo and Holy Bible were conducted, as well as the Candle-Lighting and Flower Appreciation.

Further, selected seniors delivered the Class History, Class Will & Testament and Class Prophecy which moved the outgoing senior class to tears and laughter all at the same time. “Class and elegance. Those are the words that best define the recently concluded ball.” Dr. Jose Rapsing said.
