BS Accounting Technology

This program aims to develop knowledge, skills and proficiencies to become Certified Accounting Technicians and for general accounting career in commerce, government and the business process outsourcing industry and can demonstrate the ability to conduct research and appreciate the importance of research in the development of the business sector and the Accountancy profession in particular.

Graduates of this program are equipped with the competence to contribute positively to society. With a well-founded sense of professionalism, values, ethics and attitudes that should enable them to continue to learn and adapt to change throughout the practice of this specialization.

Positions for an Accounting Technology graduate include: Accounting clerk, Accounts receivable/payable clerk, Bookkeeper, Cost accounting clerk, Data entry clerk, Junior accounting technician, Microcomputer accounting clerk & Payroll clerk in various industries.
